3/2012 up-Date Nash's eye surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6. The damaged eye will be Enucleated (removed), a prosthetic inserted and the eyelid closed Cost will be $1,000. Dr Scott Palmer is giving us a very generous discount. We've already had $100 donated by a friend of his foster, so we need $900 More. No donated amount is too small. It all adds up. He ran thru Camelot at his dam's side Sept 1, 2010 and was rescued by a now-defunct organization. When his adoptive owner could no longer keep him, HHER took him in. Raush is "special" in that he only has one functional eye. Which DOES NOT slow him down at all. He's a lovely boy, nice manners, and is a HECK of a mover. I think he's a lovely dressage prospect. While I'd like to have his eye cleaned up prior to adoption, arrangements can be made regarding having it done post-Adoption as well. Nash formally Raush is a yearling TB gelding.
